With a recent loss to El Camino in the back of their minds Friday night, the Falcons beat East LA volleyball in just about an hour to go 3-1 in conference.
Sarah Rodriguez, who was able to play a lot more than usual in Friday’s game, said the Falcon defense and strong serving were mainly due to the victory. She contributed with five kills and Yamen Zhan led the team with eight kills.
Cerritos volleyball will play about 15 minutes away from campus at LA Harbor College Oct. 7 at 6 p.m.
