The Cerritos College’s Volleyball team (1-1) will travel to Orange County to oppose local rival, Fullerton College on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 to face the Hornets in their home gym.
The Lady Falcons are coming off their first win of the season, sweeping the Dons of Santa Ana College 3-0 on Friday Sept. 7.
It was a welcome victory after the team lost it’s season-opener in the desert at San Jacinto College, 3-1 in the heat near Hemet, California.
The Hornets of Fullerton College (1-0) are currently ranked 20 in California, defeating Palomar College in Escondido on Friday Sept. 7, prevailing 3 games to 1.
Cerritos College freshman Susan Suski leads the South Coast Conference in hitting percentage at .321 early in the season, with sophomore teammate Latia Peters accounting for the number two spot respectively, chiming in at .265.
First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
