Downey Unified School District will reopen in-person learning for grades K-5 on March 29. The district is working on the plan to reopen secondary schools later this year.

Norwalk city hall reduced its hours of operation to Tuesdays and Thursdays due to a spike in COVID-19 cases throughout city departments.
Solina Sane of Autism Partnership took the Moderna vaccine at the Wesley Health Center in Belflower during her lunch break on Jan. 14. She will return for her second dose in about one month.

The COVID-19 vaccine arrives in LA County as cases continue to rise. While the vaccine does not make a person immune, it improves their chances of fighting the virus.
Norwalk City Hall houses most city departments including public safety and community development. The city has reported 18 employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
