The Bell Gardens community gathered to celebrate Halloween and Dia de los Muertos.
Lined with local businesses, the vibrant Mercado St. allowed guests to peruse the booths, shopping, walking and talking amongst each other as nearby music filled the air.

The City of Downey hosted its 9th annual "Día de Los Muertos" event at the Downey Theater as many people came out to enjoy a great day with food and performances.
The papel picado workshop held in honor of Latinx heritage month was hosted by counselor Rosa Carrillo started off with a keynote presentation explaining the history behind paper picado.
