Essential employees deserve better

Viral videos and an increased rate of ‘now hiring’ signs show that minimum wage employees deserve better now more than ever.
Food delivery drivers work hard to provide an excellent service to their customers, only to get paid less than minimum wage and rarely any tips. Customers should realize the risks these employees take, and have the common courtesy to tip them ranging from 10-20% of their order. These jobs are the only source of income for many of the workers which means they rely on tips by customers of the platforms.

Delivery drivers deserve a better wage

Making up 95% of COVID-19 cases in the US, Omicron has hit the pandemic record. During this dangerous time, delivery drivers are risking their health for the convenience of customers only to get paid less than minimum wage for their effort which is unjust considering the hard work they do.
