Faculty members urge board for health insurance benefits

If AB 190 is adopted by the board and district, part-time faculty members will receive the opportunity to join the California Public Employees' Retirement System health insurance program at no additional cost.

California Community Colleges should mandate COVID-19 vaccines

California Community Colleges are the largest academic institutions in our country, but with few colleges require COVID-19 vaccines, a unified call for leadership is necessary to mandate all 116 campuses require proof of vaccination in order to protect students and faculty staff.
