In light of Sexual Assault Awareness Month at Cerritos College, Falcon Safe set up a clothesline in the front of Cerritos College's library for students and staff to decorate shirts, denim and patches.
Boundaries can be implicit and not everything needs to be said. However, communicating verbally can help clear the air and even build up trust.

Cherise Charleswell, development manager of Journey Out, educated about twenty participants on how sex trafficking involves vulnerability. Charleswell said it's important to notice red flags such as signs of discomfort within the victim.

Journey Out, a nonprofit organization for victims of sexual exploitation & trafficking, was invited by Cerritos College to educate viewers of how victims of sexual trafficking continue to have their lives destroyed. On Jan. 26, advocate Cherise Charleswell spoke to participants about the vulnerability victims experience and how to help.
Unless you're not looking too closely, the signs of a victim can be dismissed as peculiarities unique to the individual. Recognizing them could save someone's life.

While human trafficking is overall an abhorrent practice, the logistics behind it are suffocating for the victims.That isn't to mention the legal barriers trafficking victims face for being victims.
