There are around 17 thousand students at Cerritos College, but only about 3.5% are applying for scholarships and the college discussed these scholarships on Jan. 31
Cut into concise, understandable chunks, the slideshow accompanying the lecture made it easier to follow along. Taking notes to put down beneath each bullet point was just the icing on the cake.

Due to a $2.3 million gift left by Cerritos College alumnus John B. Smith, Jr., the program will now offer scholarships to students later in the year. The grant was announced on a Cerritos College press release on Oct. 14, 2019.
