Personal Experience: Despite the dangers and fears portrayed in the media, the COVID-19 vaccine brought me hope and a glimpse of normalcy on the horizon.
Workers at the Inglewood Vaccine Site give people their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine on Feb. 10.  Afterward, they held for 20-minute observations to check for any allergic reactions.

Solina Sane of Autism Partnership took the Moderna vaccine at the Wesley Health Center in Belflower during her lunch break on Jan. 14. She will return for her second dose in about one month.

The COVID-19 vaccine arrives in LA County as cases continue to rise. While the vaccine does not make a person immune, it improves their chances of fighting the virus.
Cerritos College will be one of LA County's vaccine distribution sites. The campus has large parking lots which may be convenient for drive-thru administration of the vaccine.
